I just wanted to ask, but it seems to me, that 'Chicagoland' appears to be gamer central

not just in terms of the games companies working there now but in terms of the games companies that have been there (and in its surrounding environs) in the past, FASA, GDW et al

Oh, and Gary Gygax was born there of course

I don't know, Minneapolis-St. Paul has something like 6 stores and a very healthy community. Chicago seems anemic by comparison. I mean, it was pretty think up there.

But yeah, compared to some places, we have a pretty good community.
